iPhone firmware 1.1 rumors - my own debunking

So there is list of potential iPhone firmware updates floating around the blogosphere. Most came out around the beginning of July. It seems like an “anonymous tipster” has submitted a laundry list of updates for the next “firmware release” for the iPhone. This list has been posted and re-posted on various tech sites including: CrunchGear, MobilityToday, GearFuse, IntoMobile and others. However, after reading through it, I’m not too convinced on its legitimacy. Listed below is my point-by-point analysis of this list, and while I do think a new firmware is in the works, the list below seems to be more of a wish-list than anything else. But, you make the call! My comments are in red and brackets and the original comments are in italics…

There you have it. HighTechDad’s personal debunking of a “tipster’s” info that is now making its rounds. Sound off on this one. Would love to have other people’s read on this!
